Calgary has been an incredible home for Vek Labs.

One of the things that makes Calgary unique is its informal business culture. At first glance that might sound like a weakness, but in many ways it is a strength.

In our experience, this city is built by handshake-deals, trust and determination. If you have a willingness to work hard, demonstrate results and prove value... "come on over"!

There is a level of trust and direct communication here that allows you to understand what people are building and whether they are serious about it. For creative agencies... it calls forth adventure!

Creativity thrives here. In rigid business environments, ideas can sometimes get lost in layers of process or committee decisions. Calgary’s openness leaves more room for people to take risks and pursue initiatives.

Many of the leaders we work with here are Founders, VP's, Comms Directors... who wear their heart on their sleeve. That transparency strengthens collaboration. Projects thrive in this environment.
